Commission to Consult on Future of Sports

The Commission feels that European politics is having a growing impact on sports, and therefore they would like to put forward its position in the debate through a White Paper, to be published in 2007.

The 3 key aspects of the consultation are: the role of sports in European society; the economic impact of sports; and, the organisational aspects of sports in Europe. Responses are due: 3rd April 2007.
