EU Compliance Concerns Forcing Polish Moves On Internet Gambling Law
05/09/2008: A new draft gambling bill published by Poland’s Finance Ministry last month failed to address issues of online gambling, but observers believe the current government’s desire to comply with the EC Treaty should see a regulatory and taxation regime for online operators drawn up by early 2009.
Poland Awaits Online Gambling Regulation
12/11/2007: The Polish Government appears to have made very little progress with plans announced in 2006 to introduce regulations for Internet gambling. Despite the legal uncertainty, however, many of Europe’s leading operators continue to actively target the Polish market.
