EGBA welcomes further steps to remove national gambling protectionism

27/06/2007: The European Gaming & Betting Association (EGBA), welcomes today’s decision by the European Commission to challenge two of the largest EU gambling monopolies by sending a reasoned opinion to Sweden and France and by pursuing infringement proceedings against Greece.

27/06/2007: Die European Gaming & Betting Association ("EGBA") begrüßt die heute seitens der Europäischen Union getroffene Entscheidung, zwei der größten Glücksspielmonopole innerhalb der EU nachdrücklich zu hinterfragen. Zu diesem Zweck wurde eine begründete Stellungnahme an Schweden und Frankreich übermittelt und ein Vertragsverletzungsverfahren gegen Griechenland eröffnet
